Frequently Asked Question

Some or all pages are showing 404 error page
Last Updated 2 years ago

This is the most common question we received. There is 404 error on some or all pages on your site. This problem is related to mod_rewrite extension (Apache server extension) on your site.  Here are some solutions you can try:

Solution 1: Check if the rewrite rule applied properly.

For this, just go to Dashboard > Settings > Permalinks section and save it once. See screenshot given below:

Then check if the problem is solved or not. If solved then you don't need to do anything else. But if the problem is still not solved then please try the Solution 2 provided below.

Solution 2: Check if the rewrite rule applied properly.

If you tried the above Solution 1 and the problem is not solved then please repeat the steps and select the Plain option. See screenshot given below:

If the problem is solved then you need to contact your hosting service provider and ask them to enable mod_rewrite module on your server. The site should be working but the URL is not SEO friendly so the site should work with Day and name option.

If the problem is still not solved then there may be some files missing in our theme folder or may be any server issue. Please create a ticket on our support site so our team will check it for you and will provide you proper solution.
